OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Since the reorganization of ZiJiu Institute in May 2009, we made a conscious decision to break from the institute’s past “one voice” approach through the establishment of an open forum on the website, aiming to provide our students and web viewers with a democratic platform where they can conduct free discussion, exchange information and seek truth without being subject to pre-screening, censoring or altering. Only minimal editing and deleting are performed to maintaining our website posting policy.

We are glad to see that, since the inception of the open forum, there has been an increasing number of people participating in the open forum and the number of our viewers has reached a record high. An eagerness to seek the ultimate truth of life by students and viewers is evidenced by this.

However, we have recently noticed that improper or ill-intentioned behavior of some of our viewers may have negatively impacted the open forum. Examples of this behavior include but are not limited to the following:

    1.  Spamming;

    2.  Annoying and abusive language;

    3.  Publishing articles under the false pretences.

Such improper and ill-intentioned behavior deviated from the purpose of our open forum, caused great confusion among viewers, and diminished the quality of the open forum.   In light of this, we have taken the following actions:

    1.  Freezing the discussion of all the existing topics at the open forum.

    2.  Restricting the ability to post on the open forum to registered users.

    3.  Requiring that only articles that comply with our website policy  (http://www.zijiu.org/node/6), be posted at our website.

Please keep in mind that unlike the “one voice “ approach, we will continue to welcome and encourage constructive, healthy and good-intentioned comments and articles regardless of the identity or the viewpoint of the author. Our sincere hope is that through this practice, we will find the ultimate truth of our life.
